Levon Helms Died

Levon Helm Dies at 71 from Cancer

It has been a long time since I made any personal posts in my blog. I’ve been so damn busy working and with life I’ve just had trouble keeping up with personal posting.  But this past week one of my favorite musicians died and I just wanted to post something about it.  Levon Helm died at 71 another victim of cancer, it seems cancer is just killing all of us these days it’s so sad. Levon is most famous for the time he spent playing with “The Band” a 70′s folk rock band made up of  Rick Danko (bass guitar, double bass, fiddle, trombone, vocals), Garth Hudson (keyboard instruments, saxophones, trumpet), Richard Manuel (piano, drums, baritone saxophone, vocals), Robbie Robertson (guitar, vocals), and Levon Helm (drums, mandolin, guitar, vocals). All five members were notable musicians in their own right.  Levon Helms and Robbie Robertson were former band members of Bob Dylan’s electric band starting in 1965.  Upon leaving Dylan they formed “The Band” … it was kind of super group of American Folk Rock and they did rock! The Band came to an end with the recording of Martin Scorsese’s film “The Last Waltz“.  It is s documentary of the The Band’s last concern with a who’s who of muscians playing with the The Band for the show. Other than the members of The Band:  Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Emmylou Harris, Neil Young, Ringo Starr Paul Butterfield and Dr. John all perform in the concert. I HIGHLY recommend seeing The Last Watlz, if you love music you’ll love the movie.  Levon went on can continued playing in way to many bands and performances to talk about here but he continued playing and singing up until he died.

RIP in Levon you’ll be missed.

Here is Levi Helm in his glory during The Last Watlz

Hubby’s Blue Jean Fetish

Well if you have followed me on Twitter or on the Dreamnet Forum over the years you know for sure about my Denim Jean fetish! I am not a big fetish person but I do have a fascination and fetish for women in blue jeans. I like women in any color denim jeans but blue jeans especially turn me on. To me women of all shapes, sizes and ages look gorgeous in blue jeans. I am not sure how I developed this fetish; perhaps it’s because I grew up in a rural area, perhaps it is because I’m a child of 70‘s and saw the hippy chicks in bell bottom jeans, perhaps it is because I liked Daisy Duke in the Dukes of Harzard TV show, perhaps it is because I’m a booty guy or perhaps it is because I like women that are “down to earth”. Whatever the reason for my blue jean fetish it is definitely the strongest fetish I possess.

To me there is just something so natural and sexy about women in blue jeans. Especially if the jeans are a little worn or ripped. In my view it shows a woman in all her natural sexy glory and gives off that “down home” feeling. The kind of woman you could just walk up to at a bar and have a pleasant conversation. For me there is nothing sexier than sexy booty tucked in tight jeans. I must say I have been thrilled over the past few years with all new designer skinny jeans. Seeing a woman’s ass in those type of skin tight jeans makes me crazy … LOL!

So here is my homepage to women in blue jeans. I’ve posted some of my favorite women in the adult industry wearing their blue jeans!

If I’ve missed you and you want to be included just email me!

CANCER SUCKS!

I know this is an unusual entry for an adult related blog, however, I wanted to write about this because I always like to keep it real! I have personally seen cancer hurt so many people. Since last September three close people in my life have died from cancer; first my mother in law with lung cancer last September, then one of my best buds from high school on January 13, 2011 from melanoma and finally my friend who grew up two houses from me died yesterday (January 25, 2011) of liver cancer! The last two guys were both in their 40’s and the prime of their lives and my mother in law was only in her mid-60’s.

It is amazing how many people in this day and age are dying from cancer and it seems people are dying at younger and younger ages from it all the time. I just sucks to see such loved ones and friends taken by this dreaded disease which comes in so many different varieties. I am no doctor or scientist but there is something in our modern world which is causing so many cancer related deaths. If you ask me it is all the chemicals in our modern world. Chemicals in all our foods, hormones in all our meat, farmers spraying pesticides and all the damn chemicals we use around our house to clean. Not to mention the carbon monoxide we breath everyday from the energy we use! I guess getting cancer is just part of the modern world. We have all known someone that has been affected by cancer.

Several years ago I had an older gentlemen tell me “we would all eventually die of some form of cancer if we live long enough”. I am starting to believe what he told me is true. I’m only in my 40’s and have personally known several people that have died of cancer and then you add to the list of people you’ve known who are friends of friends and it’s sadly a long list. We all know we’ll die someday, but dying of a disease which slowly kills you over time is just a dreaded way to go if you ask me. I hope when it’s my turn that I just go in hurry!

What makes it worse is that dying of cancer is not an easy death. It normally takes a long time with many painful hospital procedures and treatments that sap a human beings spirit. In the case of my buddy who died of melanoma he spent 6 years fighting it only to pass away in the end anyway, it’s agonizing! My mother in law was a 10+ year breast cancer survivor to die in the end from lung cancer. I’m convinced her 40 years of factory work had something to do with it. I say this because a lot of people she worked with have also died from cancer. And not only is it hard on the patients, it is also super hard on the care givers. Because of our fucked up medical system in this country care givers often have to quit jobs, give up their lives and take care of the patients full time for years until the patient passes away.

So if you know of anyone with cancer please give them your love and support. Please give love and support to the care givers also! Do what you can to help science find a cure for this dreaded disease which takes so many lives.

I am just happy that mother in law, best high school buddy and close neighbor are no longer suffering. CANCER SUCKS!

My Review of Pearl Jam 20

Official PJ20 Trailer

Last night I watched PJ20 in it’s entirety with my wife Dawn Marie ( @dawnmariesdream ) . PJ20 is the documentary of Pearl Jam and their 20 years as a band. I have been a Pearl Jam fan since their very first album and they have definitely become one of my desert island bands. I found Pearl Jam during a time of my life when I was in a training program for the company I worked for as programmer in 1991. During this 3 month period we were working like 18 hours a day, 7 days a week and I listened to the album Pearl Jam “TEN” over and over again! Ever since then I have been hooked. I have purchase every single album Pearl Jam has released since that time.

One of the things I love about Pearl Jam is they are what I call “rock -n- roll” … not punk, not new wave, not hair metal, not metal … just good ole rock -n- roll reminiscence of the rock bands of the 60’s and 70’s like The Who, Led Zepplin, AC/DC and such. Another cool thing about Pearl Jam is that they have stuck to their roots and beliefs. As bands grow older it is often hard for them to focused and not get all caught up in the hype of their fans and the music industry machine. Next thing you know some rock band is coming out with hip hop record. Pearl Jam has never let that happened. They have stayed true to the rock -n- roll roots.

The documentary PJ20 is simply an awesome movie that will entertain both Pearl Jam and non-Pearl Jam fans alike. The movie was directed by Cameron Crowe and features all the band members; Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron. Chris Cornell the guitarist for Sound Garden also features prominently in the film as he was there from beginning as a great friend to Mother Love Bone singer Andrew Wood, whom died on March 19, 1990 from drug abuse. The documentary is full of real history as told by the bandmates and even has footage from the 2nd gig they ever played only 6 days after Eddie Vedder arrived in Seattle from San Diego. Over all I found the documentary to be a historically accurate film as told by the band members. And as a Pearl Jam fan I found the movie phenomenal. There were several tidbits of information I learned throughout the film that I never knew about the band. A very insightful and personal look in the band, the history and the life of a band that has defied the critics and last 20 years.

Cannot wait for the next U.S. Tour … I’ll be there!

Wishlists: A Commentary

This is a commentary on Wish Lists and how my views of them have changed over the years!

I used to HATE when webgirls and pornstars posted wish lists and begged for things online from their customers, fans and followers. Honestly I used to believe it is the lowest level of groveling someone could do; asking the general public to purchase stuff for you. To me a person begging for stuff online was just very distasteful and made a person look like they were “cheap” and just wanted free stuff.

I must say over the years my views on wish lists have evolved to not see them in such a bad light “if” they are used correctly and not shoved down viewers throats. I still hate when webgirls or pornstars go on social networks and are like “buy me this … buy me this” and tweeting out their wish lists constantly. I still see this practice and annoying and very disrespectful to customers, fans and followers. I was always raised that you don’t ask others for things and if someone wants to purchase you something they will volunteer and do it.

I still believe that “asking” is the wrong way to use a wish list, however, I have come to discover that there is a certain amount of people out there with disposable income that like to share with others. They support webgirls, pornstars and content producers because they like what they are providing or because they have developed a relationship with the person. I know that some guys like buying gadgets, outfits or sex toys for the women so they may seen them in use in their pictures and video. I think this partly because the buyer likes to see his or her connection with the performer. For example, if I was to purchase Alexis Texas a particular outfit and then she wore it in a video I would be turned on by seeing her in it!

Today my attitude on wish lists is that I have no problem with a woman posting a link on her site or social profile to her wish list. As long as it is left at that and not shoved down customers, fans or followers throats. I simple link on a site allows the guys to purchase something if they want but does not make the non-purchaser feel bad. After all we cannot “expect” people to purchase us stuff but there are some out there that enjoying purchasing stuff for the women they enjoy. A wish list is a good way for them to figure out what they want to purchase for their girl.

So to that end I have created my own wish list. Why in the world would I do this, I’m not some sexy hot looking woman. Well for a few reasons: (1) it helps me keep track of what investments are necessary to continue growing Dawn Marie’s website, (2) so much of this photography stuff Dawn Marie and I use is quite expensive and if some generous person out there wants to contribute to us growing our site quality and size we will certainly give them due credit. and (3) People think we get rich running an adult website, that is not true. Yes we make a nice living at it and we are by no means poor. But we certainly don’t make what the big porn companies make like Naughty America or Brazzers. We are just a mom and pop operation working hard for ourselves and trying to make our way in this very fun business.

I hope my views are understanding and I have given you my HONEST opinions on this subject. If you are not a wish list buyer NO PROBLEM I totally respect that. If you are wish list buyer you can view my wish list Dreamnet Rob’s Wishlist on Amazon.

Happy New Year!

Senna: The Movie

The Movie on Aryton Senna

Last night on 26-Dec-11 Dawn Marie (@dawnmariesdream) and I watched the movie “Senna”. It was absolutely PHENOMENAL.  The movie covers the life and racing career of Ayrton Senna, one of Forumla One’s most famous drivers, and delves into in personal and professional life of Ayrton Senna.  Since his death in a horrific accident on May 1, 1994, occurred as a result of his car crashing into a concrete barrier while he was leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Italy, many of his F1 records still stand to this day.

He represented Brazil (Brasil) and the people of his country loved him in a time when Brazil was at the depths of depression, social suppression and despair. He gave the citizens of Brazil something to be happy about and contributed to many of the children’s charities.  These charities are still receiving money today from Ayrton Senna.

The movie focuses on his racing career but also covers aspects of her personal life with tons of home video and behind the scene F1 footage not previously released to the public.

It is because of Senna’s death that the F1 put together a special “safety” group to  concentrate solely on driver and track safety. Since Senna’s death in 1994 no other F1 driver has died in a crash.

I cannot say enough of how enjoyable this movie was to watch and can be enjoyed by the F1 enthusiast and the non-motorsport follower alike.

Peace & Thank You!

With Christmas coming up this week and the New Year right around the corner I wanted to write and tell everyone I interact with online THANK YOU!

As you know I have been working with my wonderful wife online since we started her website in 1998. That eventually led to running Dreamnet and over the time we’ve been online we’ve made some wonderful friends, had some great times and have not regretted it for second!

It is because of all these great friends that I keep doing this. I won’t lie the money is pretty good too, but I’m not making it rich. My primary reason for continuing is all the wonderful people.

To all the people I interact with; from the fun Webgirls, cool Porn Stars, fellow webmasters and to most of all the fans of Dreamnet and my blog! I want to say THANK YOU! Without you, the fans and friends of Dreamnet we would have nothing to celebrate the beauty of the average woman out there that wants to share herself online.

So thank you from the bottom of my heart and Cheers to 2012 and I hope it becomes a more prosperous year for our economy and the world!

Sincerely ~ Rob

The Art of the Tease

I want to discuss what I call “The Art of the Tease”. This is porn production that teases you and gets your curiosity going along with your naughty thoughts. But it does it in such a way that the sneak peak shows everything in your minds eye, but not literally showing everyone.

In this day and age of Gonzo porn with all the hardcore XXX thrown right in your face “The Art of the Tease” as been lost in the majority of online porn. I confess that even as I write this I am guilty of falling into the Gonzo porn trap. As people like me produce porn for our amateur markets we can sometimes fall into the trap. It is easy to fall in the Gonzo porn trap because that is what all the big companies are doing these days. It seems much of professional porn is lacking story and creativity as they produce straight on hardcore content with the emphasis on hardcore. While most of us that join websites or purchase movies we want to eventually get the hardcore stuff, I think we are losing a lot by not starting out slow and building up to the hardcore stuff.

Teasing is important in porn! The tease is what will pique our interest as we look at porn. The tease is created through free pictures and/or free videos. But not only is tease created by pictures and video it is also created by creative writing to put along with visual content. I cannot stress enough the importance of writing. Regardless if writing up a fantasy or documenting a sexual reality situation, the writing if done creativity can really contribute to “The Art of the Tease”. A thoughtfully erotic written text component is vital to teasing and piquing the viewers interest.

There are many women on Dreamnet that use “The Art of the Tease” successfully. But since I don’t want to show any favorites with the women I work with, I am using my online friend Ariel Rebel as an demonstration of the tease. Recently I ran across a free post on Ariel Rebel’s Unplugged Blog. This post defines “The Art of the Tease”. Look at the pictures below from Ariel’s post. These picture define the tease. These are screen captures from her Video “Touched” and definitely leave you wanting more. You see everything but you see nothing all at the same time. This is what makes these pictures so interesting. Definitely makes me want to see more and I’m so intrigued by these photos. Such a good job by Ariel one of the smartest young females in the business if you ask me.

Rick Perry is a Moron

Ok I am going to rant on Politics here … so if you don’t politics quit reading now.

WTF had happened to the Republican party? I was always a Republican and voted Republican until Little George came along and the Republican party was co-op’d by the evangelical Christian movement. The Republican party used to the party of less taxes and keep the government out of lives party! But now it’s all about fundamental Christian religious views and MORE interference in our lives. Even though the Republican party claims they want less government in actuality they want more government. That want to tell women they cannot have apportions, they want to spy on all our Internet transmissions without search warrants, they want to capture all our cell phone data without search warrants or probable cause. It really makes me sick.

When I see advertisements such as this openly gay bashing from Perry and how we need religion in schools then it makes me sick to my stomach. I say OK … let’s have religion in school. But then we have to teach EVERY religion. Along side the teaching of Christianity we’ll teach Islam, Judaism, Buddhism and every other religion. But you can bet your ass the Republican’s would not go for that!

No offense to my Texas friends but how did Rick Perry ever become governor of Texas? The guy is fucking cartoon character! Thank god it looks like he doesn’t have a chance in hell to be elected!

Are you a PornStar?

Are You A Porn Star? Chances are if you are reading this article you are NOT a porn star. I have been involved in online porn since 1998 when my wife started her website. I have been watching porn since the mid-1980s when video tapes became so popular.

One of the things that drives me crazy is when women you are not porn stars call themselves porn stars. Since the advent of porn on the Internet many women that would have otherwise never been in porn have the opportunity to participate in porn. Today we have high quality digital still and video cameras and women (and couples) at home have the opportunity to produce some pretty high quality content for their websites and even make quality DVDs.

Just because a woman can post high quality content on the Internet or make high quality DVDs does not make her a “porn star”. Whether you are woman making your own porn at home or having a local photographer shoot for you are probably not a porn star. Furthermore, most of the women in the Amateur porn world have another source of income outside of porn. They are not earning their sole income from appearing in porn. It just really gets under my skin when I hear Suzie Q posting porn from her house calling herself a “Porn Star”. Even if you are Suzie Q shooting some scenes for Naughty American, Brazzers or Digital Playground you are not a porn star.

Now don’t get me wrong I have nothing against the normal women next door making porn. That is what my wife does and that is my favorite part of Internet porn. The women next door is how I make my living. To me the woman next door is super hot and many of them make some great porn! But they are not porn stars. It gets me rowled up when women next door call themselves porn stars because I think they a lumping themselves into a world of adult actresses that they don’t belong in and do not participate in. In my mind these women calling themselves porn stars is a way to inflate their own egos and make themselves out to be bigger than they really are.

So you are probably wondering what I believe is a porn star, I’ll explain. To me a porn star is an adult actress that makes her entire living participating in adult movies, pictures and attending adult events. To me the following describes what I believe a “porn star” is:

  • Porn stars have contacts with the companies to make a certain number of movies.
  • Porn stars are full time adult actresses and performers.
  • Porn stars tour the country as headline dancers at the largest strip clubs.
  • Porn stars are in 100’s of films.
  • Porn stars are shot by top notch companies with top notch videographers and photographers.
  • Porn stars have make up artists do their make up for every shoot.
  • Porn stars are famous to a very large population porn viewers.
  • Porn stars receive awards at the AVN Awards.
  • Porn stars get disease tested at least once a month!

So ask yourself, are you really a porn star? Probably not! Just because you are not a porn star does not mean I think you are something less in the porn industry. You are not, after all homemade porn (even with great equipment) is still homemade porn. Most likely you are what I call an amateur, solo girl or cam girl.

I realize the Internet and the plethora of porn available today is blurred the lines between porn star and girl next door porn, but I still believe the porn star category is much smaller than some believe.

Tell me what you think by commenting to this post. I’d love to hear opinions of others.

Twitter For Website Operators

How To Use Twitter For Website Operators

Personal quote from me:#1 rule of success in the adult web biz: Pay attention to the ones that pay attention to you!”  I wrote this article for Webgirls I work with but I believe the same principals work for everyone.

What’s Twitter Anyway?

Twitter is an information and social network made up of 140-character messages called Tweets. It’s a new and easy way to discover the latest news (“what’s happening”) related to subjects you care about.

How is Twitter Useful?

  • Branding: You can use to twitter to help build you as “A Brand” i.e. marketing your website!
  • Feedback: Twitter is a great way for your fans to provide your feedback and interact with them.
  • Dispense Information: Twitter is a GREAT way to provide your fans and friends information on what you doing.
  • Gain More Friends: With twitter you can drastically expand your network of friends and hence potential members to your site.
  • Gain Traffic: Since Twitter allows you to post a URL on your profile you can post a link to your site.
  • Google / Bing Juice: One of the reasons it’s good to have an active twitter account is because both Google and Bing give Social networks a high priority in their searches.

Twitter Hints & Tips

  • If you have twitter on your site USE IT! Nothing is more of a turn off than going to a girls Twitter page and finding that she’s not posted in 3 months or only posts once or twice a month. If you do not using it take it off your site!
  • Learn To Use Twitter Lists: You can categorize your followers into lists and it’s a GREAT way to keep up with people. For example, I have lists like “Dreamnet” with only Dreamnet people on it, “Tech Fun” which all the technology people I follow and so on. Make’s it easy to filter out what do and don’t want to see.
  • FOLLOW people that follow you! Your fans (i.e. followers) are taking time out of their lives to pay attention to you. So you should follow them back and show interest in them. If someone is allowing you to post to their twitter stream you should give the courtesy back and allow them to post to yours.
  • Pay ATTENTION to your @ tweets. If someone @ tweets you. This means they are talking DIRECTLY to you! Have the courtesy to reply to them. If you don’t you look stuck up like you don’t care.
  • What Are Hashtags (“#” Symbols)?  The # symbol, called a hashtag, is used to mark keywords or topics in a Tweet. It was created organically by Twitter users as a way to categorize messages.
  • Hashtags: helping you find interesting Tweets: (1) People use the hashtag symbol # before relevant keywords in their Tweet to categorize those Tweets to show more easily in Twitter Search. (2) Clicking on a hashtagged word in any message shows you all other Tweets in that category. (3) Hashtags can occur anywhere in the Tweet. (4) Hashtagged words that become very popular are often Trending Topics. Example tweet with hastag: Today I posted an new picture set with #bigtits stop by and see it!
  • RT i.e. retweeting: Like a Tweet? Retweet! Sometimes you come across a Tweet that you just have to share. Twitter’s Retweet (otherwise known as “RT”) feature helps you and others quickly share that Tweet with all of your followers.  Retweeting is IMPORTANT as it helps you expand your network!
  • DO NOT follow spammers. Some will follow you only to “spam”. When someone follows you look at their twitter stream before you follow them back, if it’s just a bunch of spamming and links don’t follow them.
  • Ensure your Twitter Stream is “unprotected”! By default when you setup Twitter your stream is protected so no one can see it. You want it unprotected so it’s open for all the search engines.
  • Twitter is not chat! There is nothing more annoying that following somebody who “chats” on twitter. If you want to have a full conversation with someone do not use your public twitter. If you do want to chat via Twitter do it via direct messaging or better yet use a proper chat medium like instant messaging or email.
  • Do not spam your followers. Yes we all are promoting something everyone knows that. But if all you are doing is tweeting out “come see me on cam” or “come see my new update” it’s a major turn off.  It’s fine to promote but if that is all you do then Twitter is worthless.
  • Share your real life. The interesting thing about twitter is that it gives you a little insight into peoples real lives. So tweet out every day stuff about what you are doing. Don’t over do it, but just make it interesting.
  • Share your real thoughts. Tweet out your opinions don’t be bashful, once again that provides insight to your personality!
  • Don’t tweet excessively. Nothing is more annoying that someone that tweets ever two minutes.
  • Learn to use twitter on your mobile devices. If you have a normal phone you can tweet via text messaging. Go into your mobile settings on Twitter and set up! If you have a smart phone, almost of them have Twitter client software in which you can tweet from your phone.
  • Post pictures on Twitter. Learn to post pictures for your followers. I personally love the pictures! Not just pictures from your web site, the best Twitter pictures are the candid ones. You at the Gym, you in the changing room, stuff when you are out and about running errands, pictures when your traveling etc.!
  • Use a URL Shortener: Since twitter is only 140 characters a URL shortener is needed when you tweet out links. I prefer Bit.ly because it gives me tons of great stats on who is clicking on what!
  • To Get the Most out of Twitter use one of the twitter clients that run on your desktop or smart phone: Smart Phone Apps from Twitter, Best Windows Apps for Twitter, Best Mac Apps for Twitter.

Fuck SOPA

This is a subject near and dear to my heart. I know that most of you don’t really pay attention to politics and implications of new laws. But PLEASE watch this short video by Molly Wood of CNET! Put Your Big Girl Panties On!

I have been online working with amateur naked women since 1998. I have seen a lot of women come and go over the years. However, even 13 years later I am still amazed at the poor attitude of some women. They are so inconsiderate and just don’t give a shit about me nor the members that join their sites. I mean what the fuck is wrong with these people. It’s like they are center of the universe and the world revolves around their problems.

Recently I have had a husband going off on me because I closed his wife’s site. It’s true, I did close her site. But that was not until after 5 weeks of ZERO communication from her.  I even emailed several times inquiring about her and asking what was going on. So after 5 weeks of no communication I closed her site, ran a special and I was done. Well then hubby comes along and finally replies to one of my emails telling me she was sick and had to go into the hospital. Believe me, I sympathize with that, however, that does not mean you just disappear on me. EVERY single Dreamnet woman is given my direct cell phone number and they’re all given multiple ways to get a hold of me.   But somehow in this situation hubby is calling me the bad guy and pretty much ripping me up and down for running a special and closing his wife’s site. Neither he nor his wife have excepted any responsible in this situation for their lack of communication or for  informing me of what is going on!

These type of situations never cease to amaze me and I’m sure they will never go away.  There will always be a certain segment of people that want to blame everyone else for their problems instead of owing up to their own responsibilities.  I have seen this time and again in every facet of my life, not just Dreamnet.

Women I work with will attest that I am decent and fair person. I have helped many people over the years that have had the decency to communicate with me that they are having issues.

One of the questions I often get asked by fans and women of Dreamnet is; “How do you determine who goes in Dreamnet Specials.”.   Let me explain how Dreamnet Specials work so everyone understands.

When a women decides to leave Dreamnet they are essentially 3 options: (1) she contacts me, we close her store and she continues updating her site until all the memberships have run out. I consider this the proper way of closing a site. (2) She contacts me and can no longer do updates so she tells me to add her to Dreamnet Specials for a mutually agreed on period of time.  Finally, (3) there is the woman who just goes missing in action and I never hear from again. These are the women that go into Dreamnet specials and stay there. Essentially the have fucked me over and fucked over their fans.

This is where the responsibility comes into play.  Dreamnet is a business, it’s a fun business and although we are amateur site with housewives and girls next door, we still have customers that spend their hard earned cash and deserve a quality product. So when a woman just disappears on us that leaves both Dreamnet and her members high and dry. The Dreamgirl’s get paid every week for 50% of their gross sales. So when a woman just disappears she has already been paid and then Dreamnet has to satisfy her existing members out of our  50%.   Therefore,  the women that leave us high and dry go into Dreamnet Specials in order for us to recoup our expenses on building / maintaining and having to satisfy her existing members.

So the bottom line is simply … PUT YOUR BIG GIRL PANTIES ON! If you are Dreamnet woman and go missing in action with no explanation or no plan for closing your site TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!  Don’t come bitching at me because you are in Dreamnet Specials. You made a commitment to Dreamnet and your members by excepting memberships and you are expected to live up to that commitment.

Hope this helps to clear things up … please feel free to chime in with your comments!

Sincerely,

Rob – Dreamnet.com site operator.

RIP Clarence Clemons

Born To Run Cover with Clarence

Rob’s Thoughts:

I wanted to say a few things about the death of Clarence Clemons. The passing of this man has had a profound effect on me and truly made me reflect about my life the past 24 hours. I believe the reason is because Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band was the first band I called “mine” as young teenager. I was turned on to them by a older college guy I worked with. At the age of 15 none of my other friends had ever heard of Springsteen and he was not popular where I grew up in rural Ohio. But I became an evangelist of his music and told everyone I knew how great it was. Over time all my buddies grew to love him.

Once I turned 16 me and my buddies would run the back roads of rural southern Ohio listening to Bruce and his songs of escape, redemption and positivity. I still remember all these times like it was yesterday and I watch the corn fields roll by as we listened Born to Run and Darkness On The Edge of Town. It truly helped shape our lives and our thoughts.

Over the past 33 years I have listened to everything Bruce has produced. I have over 500 of his songs in my iTunes library. Through all the years of growing up and all the different genres of music, I have listened Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band and they have NEVER left my side.

I was lucky enough enough to see Clarence play with Bruce on several occasions. Look at this ticket I saved from July 26, 1981. It only cost $12.50 to see him play for 4 hours. The show went on past mid-night!

My Ticket From 1981

It was Clarence Clemons that Bruce always feed off of in the shows. It was their chemistry that made the E Street Band so much fun to see. They just worked off of each other and Clarence Clemons was that beacon of light that ALWAYS kept the crowd smiling.

One of my favorite shows was when I saw Bruce in 1986 with Dawn Marie in Cleveland, Oh. Cleveland was always one of the bands favorite places to play and it was an extraordinary show. Dawn Marie and I managed to get seats WAY up front and it was the closest I ever got to the stage. I believe we were in row 13.

Finally, I was lucking enough in 2009 to get Nils Lofgren tickets for show because of my buddy Jack’s ownership in Mudd Guitars. It was the last time I saw them and will be the last time ever seeing Clarence Clemons. Mudd does custom guitar work for Nils Lofgren and got the hookup in the “band seats” as well as pass into the Meet & Greet. Unfortunately everything was running behind schedule so the Meet and Greet never happened but it was still a fantastic night all in all! Here a few pictures.

I want to conclude by saying Rest In Peace Clarence Clemons! You along with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have impacted my life more than you know and you will be missed. Your death will be one of the markers in my life I don’t forget as it has made me realize that I am aging and how we all get older!

From Bruce himself:

It is with overwhelming sadness that we inform our friends and fans that at 7:00 tonight, Saturday, June 18, our beloved friend and bandmate, Clarence Clemons passed away. The cause was complications from his stroke of last Sunday, June 12th.

Bruce Springsteen said of Clarence: Clarence lived a wonderful life. He carried within him a love of people that made them love him. He created a wondrous and extended family. He loved the saxophone, loved our fans and gave everything he had every night he stepped on stage. His loss is immeasurable and we are honored and thankful to have known him and had the opportunity to stand beside him for nearly forty years. He was my great friend, my partner, and with Clarence at my side, my band and I were able to tell a story far deeper than those simply contained in our music. His life, his memory, and his love will live on in that story and in our band.

From: Associated Press writer Wayne Parry in Asbury Park, N.J., contributed to this report.

NEW YORK — Clarence Clemons, the larger-than-life saxophone player for the E Street Band who was one of the key influences in Bruce Springsteen’s life and music through four decades, has died. He was 69.

Clemons died Saturday night after being hospitalized about a week ago following a stroke at his home in Singer Island, Fla.

Springsteen acknowledged the dire situation earlier this week, but said then he was hopeful. He called the loss “immeasurable.”

“We are honored and thankful to have known him and had the opportunity to stand beside him for nearly 40 years,” Springsteen said on his website. “He was my great friend, my partner and with Clarence at my side, my band and I were able to tell a story far deeper than those simply contained in our music. His life, his memory, and his love will live on in that story and in our band.”

Known as the Big Man for his imposing 6-foot-5-inch, 270-plus pound frame, Clemons and his ever-present saxophone spent much of his life with The Boss, and his booming saxophone solos became a signature sound for the E Street Band on many key songs, including “Jungleland,” a triumphant solo he spent 16 hours perfecting, and “Born To Run.”

In recent years, Clemons had been slowed by health woes. He endured major spinal surgery in January 2010 and, at the 2009 Super Bowl, Clemons rose from a wheelchair to perform with Springsteen after double knee replacement surgery.

But his health seemed to be improving. In May, he performed with Lady Gaga on the season finale of “American Idol,” and performed on two songs on her “Born This Way” album. Just this week, Lady Gaga’s video with Clemons, “The Edge of Glory,” debuted.

Clemons said in a 2010 interview with The Associated Press then that he was winning his battles — including severe, chronic pain and post-surgical depression. His sense of humor helped.

“Of all the surgeries I’ve had, there’s not much left to operate on. I am totally bionic,” he said.

“God will give you no more than you can handle,” he said in the interview. “This is all a test to see if you are really ready for the good things that are going to come in your life. All this pain is going to come back and make me stronger.”

Outside The Stone Pony, the legendary Asbury Park, N.J., rock club where Springsteen, Clemons and other E Street Band members cut their teeth in the 1970s, Phil Kuntz stopped to place a small yellow flower on a decorative white fence. Nearby, someone taped a handwritten sign that read simply “RIP Big Man.”

“I’ll never hear ‘Jungleland’ played live again, and that’s a bummer,” said Kuntz, 51, who had seen Clemons perform with Springsteen in excess of 200 times.

Caroline O’Toole, The Stone Pony’s general manager, called it “a sad day for Asbury Park.”

“He was ‘the Big Man’ but he was an even bigger man here,” she said. “His presence was just enormous and unbelievable. No one who has ever played at our club in all the decades was ever like him.”

John D’Esposito, a talent buyer for the concert promoter Live Nation, also stopped by the club.

“Asbury Park is crying right now,” he said. “It’s like the whole city is one big teardrop. Our Pied Piper is gone.”

Reaction came from across the entertainment industry.

“Clarence Clemons was an electric, generous, sweet spirit. Taught me how to look cool with a sax. Goodbye Big Man,” tweeted actor Rob Lowe.

Added Questlove, drummer for the Roots: “RIP Clarence Clemons. A True Legend. Will be absolutely missed.”

An original member — and the oldest member — of the E Street Band, Clemons also performed with the Grateful Dead, the Jerry Garcia Band, and Ringo Starr’s All Star Band. He recorded with a wide range of artists including Aretha Franklin, Roy Orbison and Jackson Browne. He also had his own band called the Temple of Soul.

The stage “always feels like home. It’s where I belong,” Clemons, a former youth counselor, said after performing at a Hard Rock Cafe benefit for Home Safe, a children’s charity, in 2010.

Born in Norfolk, Va., Clemons was the grandson of a Baptist minister and began playing the saxophone when he was 9.

“Nobody played instruments in my family. My father got that bug and said he wants his son to play saxophone. I wanted an electric train for Christmas, but he got me a saxophone. I flipped out,” he said in a 1989 interview with the AP.

He was influenced by R&B artists such as King Curtis and Junior Walker. But his dreams originally focused on football. He played for Maryland State College, and was to try out for the Cleveland Browns when he got in a bad car accident that made him retire from the sport for good.

His energies then focused on music.

In 1971, Clemons was playing with Norman Seldin & the Joyful Noise when he heard about rising singer-songwriter named Springsteen, who was from New Jersey. The two hit it off immediately and Clemons officially joined the E Street Band in 1973 with the release of the debut album “Greetings from Asbury Park.”

Clemons emerged as one of the most critical members of the E Street Band for different reasons. His burly frame would have been intimidating if not for his bright smile and endearing personality that charmed fans.

“It’s because of my innocence,” he said in a 2003 AP interview. “I have no agenda — just to be loved. Somebody said to me, ‘Whenever somebody says your name, a smile comes to their face.’ That’s a great accolade. I strive to keep it that way.”

But it was his musical contributions on tenor sax that would come to define the E Street Band sound.

“Since 1973 the Springsteen/Clemons partnership has reaped great rewards and created insightful, high energy rock & roll,” declared Don Palmer in Down Beat in 1984. “Their music, functioning like the blues from which it originated, chronicled the fears, aspirations, and limitations of suburban youth. Unlike many musicians today, Springsteen and Clemons were more interested in the heart and substance rather than the glamour of music.”

In a 2009 interview, Clemons described his deep bond with Springsteen, saying: “It’s the most passion that you have without sex.”

“It’s love. It’s two men — two strong, very virile men — finding that space in life where they can let go enough of their masculinity to feel the passion of love and respect and trust,” he added.

Clemons continued to perform with the band for the next 12 years, contributing his big, distinctive big sound to the albums, “The Wild, The Innocent and the E-Street Shuffle,” ”Born to Run,” ”Darkness on the Edge of Town, “The River” and “Born in the USA.” But four years after Springsteen experienced the blockbuster success of “Born in the USA” and toured with his group, he decided to disband the E Street Band.

“There were a few moments of tension,” the saxophonist recalled in a 1995 interview. “You’ve been together 18, 19 years. It’s like your wife coming to you: ‘I want a divorce.’ You start wondering why? Why? But you get on with your life.”

During the breaks, Clemons continued with solo projects, including a 1985 vocal duet with Browne on the single “You’re a Friend of Mine” and saxophone work on Franklin’s 1985 hit single “Freeway of Love.” He released his own albums, toured, and even sang on some songs.

Clemons also made several television and movie appearances over the years, including Martin Scorsese’s 1977 musical, “New York, New York, in which he played a trumpet player.

The break with Springsteen and the E Street Band didn’t end his relationship with either Springsteen or the rest of the band members, nor would it turn out to be permanent. By 1999 they were back together for a reunion tour and the release of “The Rising.”

But the years took a toll on Clemons’ body, and he had to play through the pain of surgeries and other health woes.

“It takes a village to run the Big Man — a village of doctors,” Clemons told The Associated Press in a phone interview in 2010. “I’m starting to feel better; I’m moving around a lot better.”

He published a memoir, “Big Man: Real Life and Tall Tales,” in 2009 and continued to perform.

He is the second member of the E Street Band to pass away: In 2008, Danny Federici, the keyboardist for the band, died at age 58 of melanoma.

R.I.P. Marco Simoncelli

When asked if he was afraid of dying in an accident during a recent interview,  Simoncelli apparently responded: “No. You live more for five minutes going fast on a bike like that, than other people do in all of their life.”

As many of you already I am avid motorcyclist and an ex-racer. Even though the motorcycle world is large we all support each other and yesterday was a very tragic day for all motorcyclists. Marco Simoncelli died yesterday in a tragic crash while racing in Sepang, Malyasia at the Malaysian Grand Prix. This is something rare in the motorcycle community and it’s extremely sad.

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL ARTICLE ON MOTOGP .COM

Marco was only 24 years old and racing in Moto GP the series where the worlds top motorcycle road racers compete. Moto GP is the “Formula 1” of the motorcycle world. Marco was really moving up in his career and his death reveals the real dangers of motorcycle racing at speeds hitting over 200 miles per hour. While all of us that ride motorcycles know this kind of thing is always possible, when it actually happens it’s still a shock.

There is not much I can add to this but my condolences to his family and friends. As an ex-racer and active motorcycle rider it is sad day.

Saint In The City

It’s Hard To Be A Saint In The City

Today I was listening to some very old Bruce Springsteen Music and forgot all about this song! This has to be one of my favorite all time Springsteen songs. We all have our list of Desert Island musicians. Bruce Springsteen would certainly be one of mine!

Video and Lyrics

I had skin like leather and the diamond-hard look of a cobra
I was born blue and weathered but I burst just like a supernova
I could walk like Brando right into the sun
Then dance just like a Casanova
With my blackjack and jacket and hair slicked sweet
Silver star studs on my duds just like a Harley in heat
When I strut down the street I could hear its heart beat
The sisters fell back and said, “Don’t that man look pretty.”
The cripple on the corner cried out, “Nickels for your pity.”
Them gasoline boys downtown sure talk gritty
It’s so hard to be a saint in the city
I was the king of the alley, mama, I could talk some trash
I was the prince of the paupers crowned downtown at the beggar’s bash
I was the pimp’s main prophet I kept everything cool
Just a backstreet gambler with the luck to lose
And when the heat came down it was left on the ground
The devil appeared like Jesus through the steam in the street
Showin’ me a hand I knew even the cops couldn’t beat
I felt his hot breath on my neck as I dove into the heat
It’s so hard to be a saint when you’re just a boy out on the street
And the sages of the subway sit just like the living dead
As the tracks clack out the rhythm, their eyes fixed straight ahead
They ride the line of balance and hold on by just a thread
But it’s too hot in these tunnels you can get hit up by the heat
You get up to get out at your next stop but they push you back down in your seat
Your heart starts beatin’ faster as you struggle to your feet
Then you’re outa that hole and back up on the street
And them South Side sisters sure look pretty
The cripple on the corner cries out, “Nickels for your pity.”
And them downtown boys sure talk gritty
It’s so hard to be a saint in the city

Rob’s Says Thank You!

I just want to thank everyone for the patience with me over the past 3 weeks. Dawn Marie and I have been moving house. Believe it or not we are now downsizing because our kids are gone (well almost)! We’ve had one son move to Chicago and our other son is currently looking for apartments to live in with this college buddies. So Dawn Marie and I no longer needed the big two story 5 bedroom house, we have found a nice one story 3 bedroom house in Chandler, AZ that just fits us perfectly! We are almost 100% moved just some odds and ends to clean up and then our old house will go up for sale.

It’s been 11 years since we last moved and I have forgotten how hard it is and how much stuff you have to take care of! Also, since we are downsizing into a smaller house we have tons of furniture stuff we have to sell. It’s been a real process but I am glad we did it. Without the kids at home Dawn Marie and I will be able to travel a little more and be a little more free!

Thanks for your patience and I am back to updating my blog / free site!

I’m a Motorcyclist!

As I’ve said before this is not only a porn blog but it is my personal blog too! So I thought I’d share one of my non-porn passions with you. I have been a avid motorcyclist since I was very young kid. At 5 years old my father bought me my first motorcycle. It was a little Honda 50cc mini-bike. Since then I have been hooked. By the time I was 7 years old I was racing motorcycles and loving every minute of it. Through my teen years I was a nationally rank AMA motocross racer in the mini class racing in the 80cc and 100cc classes. I raced both motocross and flat track. I loved them both very much. I had aspirations of going on to be a professional motocross racer, however, as I got into my late teens I was just to big to compete anymore with the little 120 pounds guys. Professional motocross racers are smaller in stature and since I’m 6’1” and 190 pounds there was no way I could keep up with them. But even though my racing career ended when I was 18 I have never given up riding.

Over the years I have participated in almost every type of motorcycle riding out there. I’ve done motocross, flat track, observed trials, enduro, street riding and road racing (i.e. track days)! Currently I am pretty much just a trail rider, however, I plan on getting another street bike soon.

Riding out in the desert of Arizona is really a good time. The solitude of being out in the middle of nohere is just amazing. I try to ride a couple to times every month , it is a great workout and a peaceful “forget the real world” type of the experience that makes it so enjoyable. Currently I am also a motorcycle off-road instructor and enjoy teaching new people to the joys of off road riding!

As I always say “4 Wheels Move The Body, Two Wheels Move the Soul!”.

So happy riding and enjoy a few pictures below … click the image for the full size view!

The Pistol Annies

If you know me you know that I LOVE music! For those of you that do not know me I am a music fanatic and have collected music since I was about 10 years old. I am also an avid guitar player and have played guitar since about the age of 14. I also collect and listen to all types of music ranging from Rock, Punk, Country, Jazz, Blues and Irish music. The only thing I don’t really listen to is classical. So from time to time you’ll see me writing about music in my blog. This is the first entry!

For my first post I want to write about The Pistol Annies. This is a group composed of Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley. It is a side project of Miranda Lambert’s and her girlfriends. I am thoroughly smitten with this album. For me this is a REAL country album it’s not pop country and it’s not top 40 country by todays standards. Rather, it’s a country album in the vain of Loretta Lynn and Johnny Cash. Don’t let the pretty voices of these woman fool you into thinking this a fluffy album. The lyrics on this album bite hard! There is a serious juxtaposition between the pretty voices and the lyrics and that is one of things I find so intriguing about this recording! The first track on the album is title “Hell On Heels” and it starts out the body of music in a perfect tone. “Hell on Heels” is all about powerful women using their female prowess to get what they want from their men! Instead of the typical guy uses girl scenario, “Hell On Heels” is all about the woman using the guys to their end.

Honestly, I have listened to album at least 30 times now and I cannot get enough of it. It is one of the best country recordings I’ve heard in a long time and the fact that I cannot stop listening to it speaks volumes about my glowing critique. The song “Lemon Drop” spoke to me quite a bit. Having grown up in southern Ohio and having family in Kentucky and Tennessee I feel I know the people in this song. The cut “Takin’ Pills” is an absolute riot as it talks about all of us out there that never pass up a free vicodin or percocet to sooth our nervous minds. Another honorable mention for me is the song “Trailer For Rent”, it is all about a wife who is fed up with her lazy ass husband and putting the trailer up for rent without telling him as she packs and leaves! So many good songs on the album I could write all day.

Let’s just say I’m smitten with The Pistol Annies first release! If you’re sick of turning on country radio and hearing the pop music they now call country give “Hell On Heels” a try! The Pistol Annies play delightfully refreshing retro country that sings true to country music’s roots!

Tattoo Woman Fetish

I have a confession to make that may surprise many of you! Over the past couple of years I have developed a real fascination with young tattoo women. The reason I’m writing about this is because this fascination even caught me by surprise! I would have never of guessed years ago that I’d be into this at all. So what’s this all about? I cannot really explain it, but I do find them to be quite a turn on. Perhaps as I get older the young tattoo women represent something I can longer obtain? Or, perhaps I appreciate their spirit and willingness to live life on their terms? I cannot really pinpoint why I find them attractive but I really do and they get me off easily. Man, I’d love just one night in bed with younger tattoo’d woman! LOL!

Women Like Ivy Snow and Joanna Angel (yes I know Joanna is 30 something hehe) are just a huge turn on to me these days! When I fantasize about all the naughty fun I could have with them it just drives me crazy and gets me all excited … hahahaha! I think it may the phenomenon of growing older and always wanting what you cannot have that is at the root of my fantasy. When I was in my 20’s it turned me on thinking about having fun sex with a 40 something woman! Well now that I’m in my 40’s it turns me on thinking about having sex with a 20 something woman! And these sexy early 20 something women that are all tattoo’d up represent youth and rebellion in my mind and maybe that is the root of my fetish.

No don’t get me wrong … I still LOVE the Moms, MILFS and mature women for sure! But this new enjoyment of the tattoo’d women just adds to my fantasy arsenal!

Regardless of the reason I find them attractive the Internet can always satisfy this fantasy of mine! I have snowball’s chance in hell of making it happen for real … LOL! Happy Surfing!

P.S. Both Ivy (Twitter) and Joanna (Twitter) are quite active on Twitter I recommend following them!

How To Use Twitter

How To Use Twitter For Website Operators

Personal quote from me:#1 rule of success in the adult web biz: Pay attention to the ones that pay attention to you!

Surf Adult – Don’t Get Busted!

How To Keep Your Porn Purchases On The Down Low

I was asked this question by somebody on Twitter and I thought I’d share with everyone. I know in this day and age many spouses and significant others are watching Credit Card and Bank Statements very closely. So sneaking purchases past the finance officer in your household can be tricky!

I have BIG NEWS! CCBill now accepts all those Visa and Master Cards that you purchase in the grocery store gift card section!

We don’t recommend lying to your spouse or significant other. Tell them about your adult fantasies you may even be surprised. But if your significant other is closed minded and does not understand you wanting to view adult material follow the simple steps below.

Here is how to surf adult sites online and not get busted!

  1. Purchase a prepaid Visa or Mastercard from your local grocery store gift card section. These cards CANNOT be traced to you and you will never sent a statement at your house.
  2. Surf the Web privately using the free web browsers Firefox, Safari or Google Chrome. All three browsers are available on both Windows and Mac.  All three browsers offer a private browsing function that allows you to surf the web without leaving browser history, cookies and saved passwords. This way your significant other will have no tracks to follow.
  3. Open a free email account. I recommend Gmail, however, both Microsoft and Yahoo have free email accounts too.  Note, DO not put in your real name and personal information.
  4. Optional: Create seperate profiles on your computer for yourself and your spouse. Just play it off like you want to have your own space to organize differently.

Rob Meets Aria Giovanni

Yes believe it or not even I sometime get a little star struck. The past 3 days I have attended The Phoenix Forum which is one of the best Adult Webmaster conventions every year. Other than the business side of things you get to meet and hang out with lots of cool people. Throughout my life I have been fortunate enough to meet a lot of famous people from pro-motorcycle racers, to famous rock star musicians and even a president! But who I was able to meet last night was fantastic. Aria Giovanni attended the The Phoenix Forum and as we were drinking beers in the courtyard I saw her sitting across the way. Well it just so happened that  ( www.ChicasPlace.com ) and her hubby were drinking with us. Chica’s hubby had met Aria before so he took me over to meet Aria Giovanni, I was over the moon!

This was one of those times I was actually a little star struck. You see even though I’m an adult webmaster, I am still human and there are women I see online that I just fall for like any guys does. Aria Giovanni for me is one of those women. So getting to meet her last night was a real special treat for me. Believe me I have spent my share of “quality time” looking at her photos LOL! I have to say meeting her in such a casual atmosphere all chilled out in her everyday clothes was something special!  She was sweet and just willing to chat, a real down to earth woman.

Just wanted to share this because I was excited about it and it was super enjoyable experience for me. Cheers to Aria!

50 Documentaries

Dawn Marie and I have been watch this SUPER COOL show hosted by Morgan Spurlock on Current TV called 50 Documentaries to See Before you Die! Morgan counts down the top 50 documentaries and there is some amazing films in this list. I’ve always watched documentaries on the History Channel or Discover TV so when this series came up I jumped on and I highly recomments watching the 5 hour series and then start watching documentaries. In today’s world of SHIT Reality TV these documentaries are breath of fresh air. Dawn Marie and I plan to work our way through all 50!

Since the final episode has aired here is list, but I highly recommend still watching the 5 hour series because you get insight into each of the documentaries.
